The working president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), KT Rama Rao, has hinted at taking strong action against those who make derogatory comments against Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. In response, BJP State president Bandi Sanjay Kumar tweeted that the collapse of the KCR regime has begun.
KTR took to Twitter to express his government’s tolerance towards increasing verbal attacks on ruling party leaders. He referenced the arrest of Kannada actor Chetan for posting an “offensive” tweet in BJP-ruled Karnataka, where he received 14 days in jail. KTR stated that in Telangana, they have been tolerating direct and horrible insults to their CM, ministers, and legislators. He asked if they should give them back in the same coin.
KTR’s tweet came hours after the police arrested YouTuber Chintapandu Naveen Kumar, also known as Teenmaar Mallanna, for alleged derogatory comments against the CM and his family members. Mallanna was picked up from his channel Q News office in Peerzadiguda, Hyderabad.
BRS supporters had lodged police complaints against him for his alleged derogatory comments against KCR, KTR, and MLC K Kavitha on his YouTube channel. Bandi Sanjay tweeted that income is going to the Kalvakuntla family, and the expenditure is burdened by the state people. He further said that Telangana martyrs are facing insults, and Telangana betrayers receive appreciation. Bandi Sanjay added that the time has come for rulers (Pittala Dora referring to KCR) to be exposed soon.
