Krushna's medical education cost to be borne by Odisha government

A migrant labourer named Krushna Chandra Ataka was able to pass the NEET exam through hard work and determination. However, he faced the challenge of paying for his medical course after getting admission to a government college. He approached the BDO of Bissamcuttack block and his request was sent to the Odisha government through the District Collector of Rayagada. The government approved his request and provided him with Rs 1 lakh from the Red Cross fund. Krushna then met with Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and 5T Secretary V K Pandian, who assured him that the government would cover all his expenses until he completes his course.

Krushna shared his journey, stating that after finishing high school, he completed his graduation at Khallikote College. Due to poverty, he had to move to Kerala and work as a labourer. However, he faced harassment and decided to return home. Krushna then helped his father with farming during the day and continued studying at night in order to achieve his dream.
