Chief Minister Revanth Reddy celebrated Dasara in his hometown, Kondareddypalli, in Vangoor Mandal of Nagar Kurnool district. He arrived on Saturday by helicopter and was warmly welcomed by the villagers. The whole village was decorated with colorful Bathukammas, garlands, and flower showers to greet him. Riding in an open-top jeep, Revanth Reddy waved to the villagers, marking his first visit to his hometown after becoming Chief Minister. This visit brought a lot of excitement to the people.
During his visit, the Chief Minister inaugurated several development projects. He opened a new primary veterinary hospital that cost ₹45 lakhs, a BC community hall built for ₹58 lakhs, the Yadaya Memorial Library constructed for ₹55 lakhs, and a new gram panchayat building that cost ₹72 lakhs. Additionally, he laid the foundation for a community building, underground sewage pipelines, a sewage treatment plant, and internal CC roads, all part of an ₹18 crore development plan for the village.
Moreover, Revanth Reddy started the construction of a modern travel hub costing ₹64 lakhs and launched the installation of streetlights along the main road. He also inaugurated a children’s park and an outdoor gym, together costing ₹32 lakhs. To mark the occasion, he planted a mango tree in front of the new gram panchayat office.
Later in the day, the Chief Minister visited the Hanuman temple, where he was given a ceremonial welcome by the priests. In the evening, he went to the Jammi tree on the outskirts of the village, offered prayers, and extended Dasara greetings to everyone.
Since this was Revanth Reddy’s first Dasara celebration in his village as Chief Minister, large security arrangements were made. He was accompanied by several dignitaries, including Nagar Kurnool MP Dr. Mallu Ravi, District Collector Badavath Santosh, Achampet MLA Chikkudu Vamsikrishna, Kalwakurthy MLA Kasireddy Narayan Reddy, and others.
