Komatireddy predicts that the INDIA bloc will take control of the government

Nalgonda: Minister for R&B Komatireddy Venkat Reddy predicted that the Congress-led INDIA bloc would win big in South India and secure a majority in North India during the upcoming parliament elections. He claimed that this would lead to the formation of a government representing the people in the first week of June.

Speaking at a press conference in Nalgonda, he criticized Prime Minister Modi for his policies that he believes are not in the best interests of the people. Reddy pointed out that the cost of living has gone up due to rising fuel and gas prices, putting a strain on the common man. He accused the BJP of undermining communal harmony and fostering division along religious lines over the past decade.

Reddy also questioned Modi’s unfulfilled promises, such as depositing Rs 15 lakh in the accounts of the poor and creating 2 crore jobs annually for young people. He warned that if Modi were to be elected for a third term, the poor would struggle to afford even one meal a day. Reddy alleged that the BJP government had exploited the country through the implementation of GST.

The minister expressed confidence that candidates from the BRS party would not fare well in the Nalgonda and Bhongir MP seats. He called on the public to support the Congress MP candidate for Nalgonda, Raghuveer Reddy, to send a strong message to the BJP. Reddy assured farmers that the government would intervene to purchase grains at competitive prices and provide financial assistance through schemes like Rythu Bandu.

Additionally, he promised to fulfill the pledge of waiving crop loans up to Rs 2 lakh by August 15 and allocate special funds for the development of Muslim minorities. The event was attended by local Congress leaders including town president Gummula Mohan Reddy, Municipal Chairman Burri Srinivas Reddy, and ZPTC Vanguri Laxmaiah, among others.
