State BJP Chief and Union Minister G Kishan Reddy stated that the Modi government is working towards ending poverty in the country by 2047. He made this statement while hoisting the national flag at the State party headquarters. Reddy emphasized that the government is focused on fulfilling the dreams of freedom fighters and India’s growth story has gained global attention.
Reddy urged the people to reject politics based on appeasement, dynasties, corruption, and dictatorship. According to him, if Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao comes to power, the situation in Telangana will worsen. He accused the state government of engaging in land-grabbing and auctioning, causing difficulties for farmers through the Dharani portal. Reddy also alleged that liquor flows freely in the state due to the influence of the Kalawakuntla family, who take a significant cut from the business. He claimed that anyone who questions the government’s actions is silenced through arrests.
The Union Minister highlighted the discontent among the youth regarding job notifications being issued and then cancelled by the government. He also expressed concern over the declining reputation of universities in the state.
Reddy equated the Congress and BRS parties, stating that they are essentially the same. While Congress leaders took commissions, BRS leaders take shares in deals. He emphasized that voting for either party is like flipping a coin with two sides.
During the celebrations, Reddy honored the parents of Veera Raja Reddy, who sacrificed their lives in service of the country. Several party members, including Dr K Laxman, N Indrasena Reddy, NVSS Prabhakar, and G Premender Reddy, participated in the event. Later, Reddy took part in a ‘Tiranga Yatra’ in the Jubilee Hills Assembly segment.
