After YSRTP president YS Sharmila joined Congress on Thursday, she expressed her hope for Congress to regain power in the country. She stated her intention to work towards making Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister. However, Telangana State BJP President and Union Minister Kishan Reddy responded to these comments.
Kishan Reddy stated that the people of the country do not want Rahul Gandhi as the Prime Minister. He emphasized that Sharmila or anyone else cannot make Rahul the Prime Minister – it is ultimately up to the common people to decide. Kishan Reddy also criticized Rahul Gandhi’s approach and solutions, stating that they have proven to be ineffective.
