Kishan Reddy Criticizes CM Revanth Reddy's Remarks

Hyderabad: Union Minister and Telangana BJP chief G Kishan Reddy strongly criticized Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for his comments against him and the BJP. He accused the CM of failing to fulfill promises made to the people of Telangana.

Speaking to the media on Saturday, Kishan Reddy dismissed the accusations as baseless and irresponsible. He clarified that there was no wrongdoing in the sanctioning of projects or allocation of funds. He emphasized that the BJP does not engage in politics merely for victory or provocation but focuses on the development of the country and the state.

Reddy highlighted the issue of representation in Hyderabad, stating that while 150 corporation seats were allotted to Backward Classes (BCs), 50% of them were won by non-BCs. He assured that the BJP would continue advocating for fair representation based on population demographics.

He also criticized CM Revanth Reddy’s comments, calling them a reflection of his inexperience. He listed several central projects aimed at Telangana’s development and pointed out that some initiatives, such as crop insurance and Ayushman Bharat, faced obstacles due to a lack of cooperation from the state government.

Responding to the Congress party’s claims, Kishan Reddy accused them of failing to implement their six core promises and 320 sub-promises within the given deadlines. He alleged that the Congress was making false accusations to divert public attention from their failures. He also suggested that internal conflicts within Congress were evident in the CM’s statements.

Reddy asserted that loud declarations alone would not resolve issues. He reminded the public of the BJP’s efforts in Telangana over the past decade. He also discussed projects worth Rs 10 lakh crore at RTC Kalyana Mandapam and Pingali Bhavan.

Calling CM Revanth Reddy’s comments derogatory, he warned that such accusations reflected poorly on the Congress leadership. He reaffirmed his commitment to Telangana’s development, particularly in areas such as national highways, railway projects, and infrastructure. He emphasized the importance of transparency and pledged to push for key industrial projects, including textile parks.

Kishan Reddy also recalled his efforts in securing the Regional Ring Road project, including multiple requests to the previous CM K Chandrasekhar Rao and the current CM Revanth Reddy. He mentioned that the state government has allocated Rs 100 crore for the project and assured that it would be sanctioned soon. He concluded by stating that he does not need CM Revanth Reddy’s approval, as the support of the people is what truly matters to him.
