Kishan criticizes Congress for failing to fulfill its promises

Union Minister for Coal and Mines and Telangana BJP chief G Kishan Reddy criticized the Congress-led state government for not fulfilling promises made to women in the state. He spoke at a protest organized by the BJP Mahila Morcha at Indira Park, urging the government to deliver on its electoral commitments.

Reddy commended the morcha for advocating for women’s issues and pressuring the government to act on its promises. He accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of delaying implementation by not providing timelines and making false oaths in the name of deities.

The BJP leader highlighted unfulfilled promises such as ‘Soniamma Rajyam’ and debt relief for farmers. He criticized the lack of female representation in Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s cabinet and the failure to fulfill pledges like monthly financial assistance and discounted LPG cylinders for women.

Reddy contrasted the Congress’s history of unfulfilled promises with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s successful delivery of women’s reservation in legislatures. He expressed hope for increased female representation in upcoming elections and criticized the current government for financial mismanagement and failure to address social issues like alcohol addiction.

The Union Minister also pointed out long-standing issues such as delayed ration card issuance and the need for continued support programs like PM Garib Kalyan Yojana and Ujjwala Yojana.
