Kishan asserts that setting fire is not a part of our cultural practices

The Union Minister for Culture and Tourism, G Kishan Reddy, spoke to the media on Sunday about the false cases of arson that have been filed against BJYM State president Bhanu Prakash and 11 others. Reddy stated that these cases were unjust, and that the leak of Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) exam papers had caused great distress among the unemployed youth in the State. He emphasized that the leak of service commission exam papers was unacceptable, and that the government needed to take responsibility for its inefficiency and hold a high-level inquiry into the leak.

Reddy also accused the Telangana government of failing to address the needs of the people in the State, and stated that they wanted an end to dynastic, corrupt, and mafia rule. He criticized the government’s decision to file false cases against BJYM activists, alleging that they had come with petrol to set fire. Reddy emphasized that setting fire to anything was not part of their culture, and that they had been fighting for people’s causes for the past 40 years.

Reddy reiterated that the BJP had been demanding a probe by a sitting judge into the paper leak, and that they would continue their fight until fulfilling the aspirations of people for a change of guard in Telangana. He stated that the people of the State trusted that change was possible only with the BJP, and that they were prepared to do whatever it takes for the sake of the people.
