Kerala High Court mandates removal of woman's image from online media, stating "Privacy is essential for dignity."

The Kerala High Court ordered the removal of images of a woman who was a victim in an immoral trafficking case on Friday. The court stressed that privacy is important for human dignity and a constitutional value. The woman had claimed that her name, images, identity, and other details were uploaded on online media platforms, including YouTube. She was one of the victims in the case.

The woman had faced cyber-attacks and humiliation after her details were exposed to the media. The court directed the state police chief to remove the images from online platforms and scheduled the next hearing for Tuesday.
