KCR warns people as Congress attempts to reinstate old registration system

The Chief of BRS, K Chandrashekar Rao, warned that the Congress party would bring back the old system of registrations and take away the rights of farmers. He urged the people of the State to teach the opposition party a lesson or else they would have to resort to protests.

Speaking at a public meeting in Jangaon, Chandrashekar Rao explained that he had introduced the Dharani portal after working on it for several years. Previously, various officials had control over farmers’ land, but he had given the rights back to the farmers. He emphasized that if people wanted their lands to remain safe and the current registration system to continue, they should reject Congress leaders. He asserted that the Congress party needed to be taught a lesson, and if mistakes were made, protests would be the only option.

Chandrashekar Rao also criticized the Congress for their stance on tenant farmers. He questioned how the Congress expected to determine the number of tenant farmers and highlighted the inconsistencies in their approach. He mentioned that buildings in affluent areas like Banjara Hills were rented out, but there was no mention of this in their manifesto. He vowed to protect the current system as long as his government was in power and accused the Congress leaders of wanting farmers to go through unnecessary legal battles.

The Chief Minister also addressed the Congress party’s comments about three-hour power supply. He reminded them that Telangana was the only state providing 24-hour power and questioned their ability to do the same in Karnataka. He highlighted the struggles faced by farmers due to power shortages and emphasized the importance of uninterrupted power supply for agriculture.

Overall, Chandrashekar Rao urged the people to stand against the Congress party’s policies and protect the rights and welfare of farmers.
