Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao criticized the Congress party, especially former TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy, for their remarks against the Rythu Bandhu. KCR defended the scheme and warned that it would be discontinued if Congress comes to power. He expressed these views at the Praja Ashirwad Sabha in Palakurthy, organized by Errabelli Dayakar Rao. KCR stressed the importance of voting and urged people not to be influenced by temptation but to consider the progress of the state before making their decision.
KCR highlighted the changes that have occurred in Palakurthy over the past decade under the BRS government. He mentioned that migrants from other states are now able to make a living in the area and questioned why the Congress party did not address these changes during their time in power. He also talked about the improvement in water supply after the completion of the Devadula project, which brings water from Kaleswaram to benefit thousands of acres of land.
The Telangana Chief Minister encouraged people to examine the track records of candidates and parties before voting. He praised BRS for its consistent support to the people and asked voters to consider what Congress has achieved during their time in power.
