The Chief Minister of Telangana, K Chandrashekar Rao, is proud of the state’s historical legacy. He thinks it’s amazing that Telangana has landmarks that are almost 20 million years old! Historians have done a great job of documenting and preserving this history. The Chief Minister unveiled five books that the Bharat Jagruti Sansthan published. These books tell the story of Telangana’s history.

Over the past six years, historians have explored many historical sites across Telangana. They collected information about fossils, buildings, inscriptions, coins, and scriptures. They used this information to write the books about Telangana’s history. The Chief Minister thinks it’s fantastic that Telangana citizens can learn about their state’s history. He believes that understanding history can help shape the future.
