KCR blames Cong for plunging state into darkness in 120 days

BRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao recently spoke at a public meeting in Chevella, expressing concerns about the current state of affairs in Telangana. He highlighted the challenges the state has faced since BRS went out of power over 120 days ago. KCR warned that if voters continue to support Congress, the 6 guarantees promised by BRS may be abandoned, as Congress leaders could interpret this as a sign of ongoing voter faith in their party.

Under BRS’s rule, there were no power or water shortage issues for irrigation and drinking purposes. However, KCR noted that the current government has failed to maintain these systems, resulting in power problems for the people. He emphasized that if the current government had continued the initiatives started by BRS, such issues could have been avoided.

KCR reiterated his commitment to fighting for the rights of the state and holding the government accountable for its promises. He specifically mentioned the Rythu Bandhu scheme and threatened to stage a protest if the benefits were delayed. KCR also called on farmers to demand fair prices for their produce and reminded voters of the abandoned promises made by the Congress government.

The former CM criticized the Congress government for failing on various fronts, such as not fulfilling promises like providing two-wheelers to girl students and implementing the Kalyana Lakshmi scheme. He urged BCs to support BRS candidate K Gnaneshwar in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections to ensure strong opposition representation.

KCR also took aim at the BJP, accusing the Centre of discriminating against Telangana due to disagreements over implementing power meters for agriculture pump sets. He criticized the BJP’s tactics of using ED to threaten opposition leaders and exploiting religious sentiments for political gain.
