MLC Kavitha from Hyderabad has written an open letter to the chief leaders of all parties, urging them to support the Women’s Reservation Bill in the special sessions of Parliament. She wants the Women’s Reservation Bill to be given priority during these meetings. The letter has been sent to the heads of all 47 political parties, including Telangana CM KCR. Kavitha believes that political differences should be set aside for the sake of dealing with the Women’s Bill unanimously.

In her letter, Kavitha requests that 33% of the seats in the Lok Sabha and state legislatures be reserved for women. She emphasizes the importance of women’s representation in the legislature and highlights that increasing women’s representation is not a unique issue but a matter of inclusiveness in democracy.
