MLC K. Kavitha recently visited the Kesamundram Market Yard in Hyderabad to support Telangana’s red chilli farmers. She strongly criticized the government for not ensuring fair prices for their crops.
Farmers in the region are facing financial difficulties and struggling to get a good price for their produce. Kavitha urged the government to set a Minimum Support Price (MSP) of ₹25,000 per quintal. She accused the authorities of neglecting the needs of farmers, who play a crucial role in the state’s agricultural economy.
Her statement reflects the growing frustration among farmers due to a lack of government support and unstable market prices. Kavitha also called on Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to take immediate action and provide justice to the farmers.
