The elections for the new executive committee of the Telangana Kabaddi Association were recently held in Hyderabad. Members from various district Kabaddi associations participated in the event. Retired IAS officer Jaganmohan acted as the returning officer, while representatives from the Indian Olympic Association and the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) were present as observers.
In the results, Kasani Veeresh Mudiraj was elected as the new president of the association. Mahender Reddy was chosen as the general secretary, and Ravi was elected as the treasurer.
After being elected, President Veeresh Mudiraj expressed his dedication to promoting Kabaddi players on a global level. He also thanked everyone for giving him the chance to contribute to the development of Kabaddi, which he referred to as an important rural sport.
