Hyderabad: The Kaleshwaram Commission is preparing to question several construction firms over the next three days as part of its ongoing investigation. The questioning will begin tomorrow and focus on key projects under the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme.
On the first day, the Commission will question construction agencies involved in the Medigadda, Annaram, and Sundilla projects. These are critical components of the irrigation scheme, which aims to boost water supply across Telangana.
The following day, representatives from New Era (Navayug) will appear before the Commission. On Wednesday, the inquiry will shift to L&T (Larsen & Toubro). Finally, on Friday, the Afcons agency will take the stand.
This investigation is aimed at evaluating the performance of these firms, understanding the challenges they encountered, and addressing any delays in the projects. The Commission’s findings are expected to play a key role in ensuring accountability and shaping the future of the ambitious Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme.
