Hanumakonda: Former Deputy Chief Minister and Station Ghanpur MLA Kadiyam Srihari has promised that developmental projects worth ₹1,000 crore will be launched in his constituency by March 31 next year.
At a program held on Wednesday, Srihari distributed cheques to beneficiaries of schemes like Kalyana Lakshmi and the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. He emphasized that these welfare schemes are reaching the people directly without any corruption or involvement of middlemen.
Reflecting on his time in office, the MLA noted that he completed one year as of December 3 and has now entered his second year of service. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Station Ghanpur for their trust and support, saying he feels indebted to them. “No matter how much I do for Station Ghanpur, it will never be enough,” he remarked.
Over the past year, Srihari successfully facilitated approvals for developmental works worth ₹745 crore in the constituency. Among these projects are a ₹200 crore Young India Integrated Residential School Complex to provide high-quality education to students and a ₹45 crore 100-bed hospital to improve healthcare services.
Other notable projects include a ₹26 crore Integrated Divisional Office Complex, ₹148 crore CC lining for the main canal from Ghanpur Reservoir to Nawabpet Reservoir to ensure irrigation for two crop seasons, and a ₹30 crore degree college in the constituency center.
Srihari also highlighted the significant achievements of the Congress government during the past year. He stated that he is ready to provide evidence of these successes and challenged critics to dispute them.
