Hyderabad: A large free medical camp was held at Chitrapuri Colony in Hyderabad. It was organized by the voluntary group ‘Kadambari Foundation-Manam Saitam’ with support from Shure’s CSR initiative. Renova Hospital, Vidyanagar, also helped in conducting the camp.
Many people attended the event and received free health services. These included eye and dental check-ups, blood pressure tests, heart check-ups, weight and BMI measurements, cancer screenings, homeopathy consultations, and bone mineral density (BMD) tests.
Kadambari Kiran, founder of the Kadambari Foundation, said the goal of the camp was to promote good health. He added, “Health is the greatest wealth. That’s why we organized this camp with the help of doctors from top hospitals.” He also shared that the foundation has helped over 50,000 people in the last 10 years. His dream is to build an orphanage and an old-age home to support the needy.
Actor Vinod Bala praised the foundation’s efforts, saying he felt proud to be part of the team and help the workers of Chitrapuri Colony. Kasturi Srinivas also said he would continue supporting the foundation’s good work.
