South Central Railway (SCR) has decided to speed up the Kacheguda-Yevantpur-Kacheguda Vande Bharat Express to provide faster connectivity. The train, which used to take 8 hours and 30 minutes, will now complete the journey in 8 hours and 15 minutes. This decision was made due to the train’s popularity among passengers traveling between the two cities.
SCR officials have observed that the train has been well-received by rail users, with occupancy rates exceeding 100% in both directions. To further improve connectivity, one pair of MMTS services has been introduced from Lingampally to Umdanagar in the morning and from Falaknuma to Lingampally at night.
The train, numbered 20703, will depart from Kacheguda at 5:45 am and arrive at Yesvantpur at 2 pm.
