Union Minister and BJP Telangana State President G Kishan Reddy attended the ‘Rozgar Mela’ event held at the Men’s Club Group Centre, CRPF Chandrayanagutta, Hyderabad, on Monday.
During the event, he handed out appointment letters to selected candidates for various central government positions. This initiative is part of a broader effort by the government to create more job opportunities for the youth.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also participated in the event virtually. The job fair was organized simultaneously at 45 centers across India. Speaking at the event, Kishan Reddy highlighted that this was the 11th Rozgar Mela, aimed at generating employment. He shared that about 71,000 individuals nationwide were receiving job offer letters in this round.
Kishan Reddy further explained that the appointment letters distributed were for positions in 10 central government departments. He added that under the Narendra Modi government, nearly 1 million young men and women have already been recruited for various government roles. To ensure continued progress, Prime Minister Modi announced that job placements would now occur monthly, with officials directed to speed up the recruitment process. Reddy emphasized that the hiring process under the Modi government prioritizes transparency, educational qualifications, and talent.
The minister also spoke about India’s large youth population, stating that it is the country’s greatest strength. He urged the youth to contribute towards making India a developed nation by 2047. “As government employees, you have a vital role in building a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India). Always remember your roots—your motherland, your mother tongue, and your teachers who shaped your education,” he said.
