The IPL final between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings was rescheduled due to heavy rain in Ahmedabad and moved to a reserve day. This is the first time an IPL final has been moved to a reserve day. Despite the struggles fans faced, including sleeping on railway stations due to a shortage of hotels, the stadium was full. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah thanked fans for attending the rescheduled match, calling them the backbone of IPL. Currently, play has been stopped due to a wet outfield and CSK needs 211 runs to win the title.
