Jagga Reddy, PCC working president and former MLA, accused former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao of spreading misinformation about power supply in the State. He called KCR a ‘professor of falsehoods’ during a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan.
Reddy criticized KCR for claiming there were power cuts in Telangana, citing an incident where KCR tweeted about experiencing power cuts while having lunch at a former minister’s residence. Reddy emphasized that KCR’s concern was not about power supply but about losing political power.
According to Reddy, KCR’s frustration stems from the loss of political power by his family. Reddy also stated that if Congress wins 14 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana, Rahul Gandhi could become Prime Minister and ensure justice for all sections of society.
