Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy of the YSR Congress Party questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the NDA’s promise to grant Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh. At a rally in Gajuwaka, Jagan criticized PM Modi for now supporting Chandrababu Naidu after accusing him of corruption in the past.
Jagan warned voters that if they choose the NDA and TDP alliance, they risk the privatization of the Vizag Steel Plant. He urged people to vote for YSRCP to prevent this outcome.
Accusing Chandrababu Naidu of trying to obstruct welfare distribution in Andhra Pradesh, Jagan highlighted the failures of the TDP chief during his 14-year tenure as the state’s leader. He claimed that TDP, with backing from Delhi, was hindering the distribution of welfare schemes.
Jagan emphasized his government’s achievements in welfare, job creation, education, and healthcare sectors over the past 59 months. He criticized Naidu’s unfulfilled promises from previous manifestos and encouraged voters to support YSRCP in the upcoming elections.
In separate meetings, Jagan reiterated his commitment to decentralize administration, with Visakhapatnam as the executive capital. He discussed ongoing development projects and emphasized the significant industrial investments under YSRCP compared to previous administrations.
