Hyderabad has been witnessing IT raids for the second day in a row. These raids have targeted well-known film production companies, including SVC, Mythri Movie Makers, and Mango Media. The main goal of the operation is to investigate the budgets spent on movies and verify the revenue they have earned.
Among the films being scrutinized is the high-profile project “Pushpa 2.” Officials are reportedly focusing on identifying discrepancies in income tax returns. The aim is to uncover any unaccounted financial transactions and irregularities in tax payments.
On the first day of the raids, IT officials questioned Tejaswini, the wife of producer Dil Raju. They also accessed bank lockers associated with the family. Today, the investigation has expanded to reviewing more documents and financial records from the production companies.
There is speculation that producer Dil Raju himself might be summoned for questioning at the SVC office. The IT department’s ongoing investigation is expected to reveal critical details about the financial dealings of major Tollywood films.
