Amitabh Kant, who represents India at a meeting of important nations known as the G-20, asked a firm called People Research to conduct the survey. The survey is all about the middle class in India because they are very important to the growth of the country’s economy. Kant said that India’s middle class wants to move up in life and this matches the larger goals as the country grows and develops. According to a survey by PRICE and ICE 360 in 2020-21, India’s middle class, including people earning between ₹5-30 lakh a year, is set to become much larger. It is expected to increase by 2.5 times by 2046-47 and constitute 61% of the total population.
Currently, the middle class is about 31% of the population, but it is expected to reach 47% by 2030-31. Rajesh Shukla, who predicted how much money will be in India in the future, says that by 2030-31, there will be a lot of money in India. That turns out to be a $7.1 trillion economy, which means they have a lot of money to spend. Currently, they have $1.9 trillion to spend, but in the future, they will have $5.2 trillion. Rajesh Shukla expects India’s money to grow by 6.5-6.8% every year for the next seven years. India will be very important in the future for jobs worldwide. To take advantage of this opportunity, the government should bring changes in the way children are taught in schools. A wise man who knows well about money and jobs says this.
