Increased investments attracted by Telangana at Davos

Investments are coming in for Telangana at the World Economic Forum annual meeting in Davos. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and his delegation have signed several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with global investors and Indian companies.

Uber has announced its plans to expand in Hyderabad, which will create job opportunities for about 1000 skilled engineers. They will also introduce two new services: Uber Green Launch, offering exclusive access to zero-emission electric vehicle rides, and Uber Shuttle Launch, providing efficient rides on high-capacity vehicles.

The Systra Group will be setting up a 1000-member Advanced Centre for Digital Design and Construction Project Management in Hyderabad. The Systra Digital Centre (SDC) will focus on developing digital tools for design production optimization and efficient project management services.

Qcentrio, an IT development and services provider, is also expanding its operations in Telangana. They plan to create around 1000 job opportunities and establish a strong presence in Hyderabad to take advantage of the city’s business ecosystem.

Tata Technologies Limited (TTL) has partnered with the State government to upgrade Government ITIs as Advanced Technology Centres. They will invest around Rs 1,500 crore to set up advanced skilling centres in 50 Government ITIs and deploy master trainers for new courses.

Revanth Reddy expressed his commitment to facilitating investments from the Tata group and welcomed TTL’s partnership in establishing advanced tech centres in Government ITIs. He also invited TTL to join the initiative to set up dedicated skill universities in Telangana.
