Today, two special events took place at the Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan Trust in Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad.
The first event was “Tula Bharam.” This ritual is where devotees offer donations in the form of money, goods, or grains equal to their weight. It is a way for the devotees to express gratitude for having their wishes for children, marriage, jobs, and health fulfilled by the blessings of Shri Shirdi Sai Baba. The event was inaugurated at 7:30 AM by the Trust Chairman, Shri B.V. Shyam Kumar. Trust committee members Shri Padmakar Atreya and Shri M. Shyamala Rao also attended. The event began with a child dressed as Lord Krishna.
The second event was the marriage of two disabled individuals, Chi. Sai Kumar and Chi. L. Sau. Deepika. The wedding was conducted in a highly auspicious manner according to the scriptures, under the guidance of the Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan Trust.
For the wedding, the bride and groom were given silk garments, gold mangalsutras, Baba’s shawls, flower garlands, and prasadam for 100 people. The Sansthan also took care of the stage decorations.
