The weather department has forecasted relief from the scorching heatwave that has been affecting the state for the last few days. Moderate to heavy rains are expected in the state for the next 5 days starting from Sunday.
The temperature is set to gradually decrease and the weather will cool down starting from the third of June. The Monsoon hit Kerala on the 30th and is anticipated to reach our state on June 5th and 6th, according to Meteorological Department officials.
In the past two days, temperatures have soared, reaching as high as 44 degrees. However, there is hope for relief as thunder and lightning rains are possible in some districts on Saturday evening.
