Government Whip and Alair MLA Beerla Ilaiah strongly criticized former minister Harish Rao on Sunday. He warned Harish Rao to be careful with his words. Ilaiah made a harsh remark, saying that if Harish Rao did not control his language, they would wash his mouth with acid.
Ilaiah questioned Harish Rao, asking how he would react if someone spoke badly about his family members, such as his mother, sister, or aunt. He accused Harish Rao of speaking arrogantly and reminded him of the statements made by his uncle, former Chief Minister KCR, over the past ten years.
He also criticized the previous government, saying that the Kaleshwaram project had failed. Ilaiah accused both Harish Rao and KCR of misusing crores of rupees in the name of the project. He further claimed that Telangana, which once had a surplus budget, was now burdened with a ₹7 lakh crore debt because of the previous government.
Ilaiah praised Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, saying that he is working hard to fix the damage and bring the state back on track. Meanwhile, he accused the opposition of unnecessarily creating disturbances.
