IIT Hyderabad has maintained its ranking at 14 in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), which is released by the Ministry of Education in India. For eight years in a row, IIT Hyderabad has been ranked in the top 10 technical institutes in the country, and it is the best among the second-generation IITs. This year, IITH is ranked third in NIRF-Innovation.
The Director of IIT Hyderabad, Prof B S Murty, expressed his happiness with this achievement. He said that IITH has become a brand of its own and has attracted talented students and faculty members who are passionate about inventing and innovating in technology for humanity. He also thanked the Ministry of Education for their support and trust in facilitating the growth of IITH.
Prof Murty emphasized that IITH is committed to creating interdisciplinary and industry-centric academic programs in line with the NEP-2020. He believes that with the support of their team, IITH will continue to set new benchmarks in innovating and inventing for technology and humanity.
