The Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, along with the Department of School Education and Literacy (DoSEL), AICTE, and other educational bodies, is organizing an Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship (IDE) bootcamp. The goal is to help students, teachers, and school principals develop creativity and entrepreneurial skills.

The IDE bootcamp is scheduled for April 4-5 and April 9-10 at Vardhaman College of Engineering. Renowned speakers, design experts, and incubation heads will conduct training sessions at nine locations across the country. The bootcamp aims to equip participants with tools and insights for success in today’s business world.

The bootcamp was inaugurated by AICTE Chairman Professor T G Seetharam and Jayesh Ranjan IAS, Special Chief Secretary to the Telangana government. Representatives from the Wadhwani Foundation also joined to enhance the program’s impact.

Participants from various States will undergo training sessions focusing on a human-centered approach to innovation. They will explore design thinking, business model development, and the Indian entrepreneurial landscape through workshops and group activities.

Dr JVR Ravindra and Professor Vivek Kulkarni, along with other educators, have helped shape the bootcamp’s curriculum. The IDE bootcamp has attracted over 350 innovators and educators from schools nationwide, promising to inspire the next generation of innovators.
