An exclusive gym for senior citizens has been opened in Hyderabad, India. The gym is located in the peaceful Botanical Garden in Kondapur, known for its variety of plants. The State Forest Development Corporation came up with the idea after being approached by a group of seniors who wanted a place to exercise regularly.

The gym was inaugurated by Corporation Chairman Vanteru Pratap Reddy. He mentioned that many people visit the botanical garden for walks and seniors specifically requested a gym facility. The gym is equipped with various machines and equipment for different exercises.

Cooperation Vice Chairman and Managing Director Dr. G. Chandrasekhar Reddy stated that the gym will not only promote physical fitness among senior citizens but also educate them about its importance. Regular exercise will help seniors become physically stronger.

The development of urban forestry is a priority for Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao in Hyderabad. As part of this initiative, the State Forest department Corporation has developed urban forests in different parts of Greater Hyderabad. The Botanical Garden was created to provide a green space for city residents, and the gym for senior citizens is one of the new facilities available there.
