Hyderabad experienced another day of cloudy skies and chilly weather on Thursday. Light rain and occasional drizzles were reported in various parts of the city and surrounding districts, making for a cool and damp day.
Data from the Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS) showed that minimum temperatures in the city ranged between 19°C and 20°C. These cooler temperatures were caused by cold winds sweeping through the region.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Hyderabad has forecasted similar weather for the rest of the day. Residents can expect misty or hazy mornings, generally cloudy skies, and chances of light rain or drizzle, particularly in the evening.
In nearby districts, Siddipet recorded 3.3 mm of rainfall between Wednesday evening and early Thursday morning. Within Hyderabad, neighborhoods like Hayathnagar, Marredpally, Uppal, Moula Ali, Kapra, Shaikpet, Quthbullapur, Malkajgiri, Balanagar, and Musheerabad experienced light rainfall, with precipitation ranging from 2.5 mm to 1 mm.
The cloudy and rainy conditions are likely to continue, offering some relief from the usual dry winter weather while keeping temperatures cooler than normal.
