Hyderabad: The city of Hyderabad will soon have a better network of link roads. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has asked officials to build new roads to make travel easier for people in the city.
The Chief Minister recently reviewed the work on constructing and expanding link roads. This project is being handled by the Hyderabad Road Development Corporation (HRDCL) and also covers areas under the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA).
During the review, Revanth Reddy gave several suggestions for improving 49 proposed roads. He told officials to focus on connecting different parts of the city so that people can travel without any problems.
The Chief Minister said that the needs of the public should come first while building these roads. He also stressed the importance of planning for future traffic and travel demands.
Revanth Reddy added that the new roads should not only reduce travel difficulties but also save time for commuters. He instructed that land required for the roads should be acquired quickly, even if it is expensive.
