Hyderabad prohibits flying drones from June 13 to 17.

Flying drones in certain areas of Madhapur will be prohibited from June 13 to June 17, according to a notice issued by the Cyberabad Police Commissioner Stephen Raveendra. The decision was made due to concerns about anti-social elements causing disruption and possible attacks using paragliders, remote-controlled drones, and microlight aircraft. This ban is in line with directives from the Centre and other security agencies.

The senior police officer stated that such attacks could endanger public safety and breach peace. Therefore, drones will not be allowed to function within a five-kilometre radius of hotels in Madhapur, including Convention Hall, HICC, Novotel Hotel, Trident Hotel, Westin Hotel, and ITC Kohinoor.
