Hyderabad Police Probe Mysterious Break-In at BJP MP DK Aruna’s Home

The Hyderabad police are investigating a break-in at the home of BJP MP DK Aruna in Jubilee Hills. Police Commissioner CV Anand and senior officers visited the site on Monday to check the situation and review security arrangements.

CCTV footage showed an unidentified intruder wearing gloves and a mask. The suspect spent about 1 hour and 35 minutes inside the property. According to West Zone DCP SM Vijay Kumar, it took the intruder around 10 minutes to break in. He then moved cautiously for another 10 minutes and stayed in one of the halls for about 15-20 minutes before leaving.

DCP Vijay Kumar stated that the intruder appeared familiar with the house layout. The entire incident, from jumping the fence to leaving, lasted an hour and a half.

The police have formed eight special teams to go through CCTV footage, track the intruder’s movements, and find possible escape routes. Officials inspected important areas of the house, such as the terrace, garden, and kitchen, and increased security around the residence.

Ms. Aruna, who is the MP from Mahabubnagar, was not at home during the incident. She was away on official work in her constituency. The break-in has raised concerns about the security of high-profile political figures in Hyderabad.

The investigation is still ongoing. Police are working to identify the suspect and determine whether the break-in was planned or just a random burglary attempt.
