Hyderabad Police Detain Tiffin Centre Owner and Three Others for Suspected Drug Peddling

The Varalakshmi Tiffins Centre in Hyderabad, which is located in Food Lane, DLF Street, Gachibowli, is a popular hotel. However, recently, drugs were found on its premises and the police seized drugs worth about Rs. 14 lakh.

As a result, the owner of Varalakshmi Tiffins and three others have been detained by the police. Along with the drugs, the police also confiscated Rs. 97,500 in cash and five mobile phones. The main accused, Anuradha, is a drug peddler who had been smuggling drugs from Goa to the city for many years to make money.

Anuradha got involved with Prabhakar Reddy, the owner of Varalakshmi Tiffins, and Venkata, the owner of Palleturi Pullatlu during this time. They started selling drugs locally, including cocaine, MDMA, and Ecstasy pills. The police said they used to meet at Mokila to discuss the drug supply. The recent arrest happened while a drug deal was taking place.
