The Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force (west) arrested two people on Saturday night for running an illegal hookah centre in Tolichowki. The police seized a large amount of hookah pots, flavours and other items. The arrested individuals were identified as Syed Arshad Hussaini (25) and Syed Obaid Hussaini (21), both residents of Kalapather.

According to Task Force Inspector Khaleel Pasha, the duo was operating the hookah parlour without permission. There was a high quantity of highly inflammable items in the centre, and no fire safety measures were taken, which could have resulted in fire accidents. It was also reported that minors were allowed into the premises by the management.
