Olive Hospital Launches Brain Injury Awareness Program in Hyderabad

Olive Hospital, a well-known healthcare provider in Telangana, has started a Brain Injury Awareness and Prevention program. This initiative is in partnership with the Hyderabad South West Zone Police and aims to educate people about brain injuries, their risks, and how to prevent them.

At the event, senior police officials stressed the importance of following safety rules, such as wearing helmets and obeying road regulations. Dr. Raghuram Teja, a neurosurgeon at Olive Hospital, spoke about the long-term effects of brain injuries. He emphasized that early awareness and prevention can help reduce such injuries and improve people’s quality of life.

The session included expert talks on different types of brain injuries, their health effects, and ways to prevent them. Topics discussed included road safety, workplace precautions, and the importance of wearing helmets while riding two-wheelers. Police officers actively participated in discussions on how they could use this knowledge in public safety campaigns.

Several senior police officials attended the event, including DCP Chandra Mohan (South West Zone), Traffic ACP Dhanalakshmi (Goshamahal), Inspector Munnawar (Kulshumpura), and Traffic Inspector Anjayya (Kulshumpura). Their presence highlighted the importance of cooperation between healthcare professionals and law enforcement in promoting public health and safety.

Police officials promised to use their knowledge to improve traffic regulations and prevent accidents in their areas. The program also announced future awareness campaigns in schools, public places, and community centers to further educate people about brain injury risks.

This initiative is an important step in connecting healthcare and law enforcement for a shared goal—public safety. Olive Hospital hopes to continue such efforts to spread awareness and ensure that more people understand the dangers of brain injuries and how to prevent them.
