Hyderabad is all set to celebrate the Sri Rama Navami festival with grandeur by conducting the Shobha Yatra of Lord Rama. The procession will begin at 1 PM from Sitaram Bagh Temple and will proceed towards Sultan Bazar Hanuman Gymnasium, covering a distance of about 6.5 kilometers. To ensure the safety of the participants and prevent any untoward incident, the police have made heavy security arrangements, including the installation of CC cameras and constant monitoring from the Hyderabad Command Control Center.

As part of the celebrations, MLA Raja Singh will deliver a speech at Begum Bazar Chatri at 6 pm. However, due to the procession, traffic restrictions and diversions will be implemented along the route map of Sri Rama’s Shobhayatra. The traffic restrictions will be imposed at various junctions and roads from 11 am to 10 pm, and the police have advised motorists to take alternative routes.

The procession will pass through Boyaguda Kaman, Mangalhat Jali Hanuman, Doolpeta, Puranapool, Jumerat Bazar, Chudibazaar, Begambazar Chatri, Bartan Bazar, Saarbar Bazar Mosque, Shankar Sher Kotal, Gauliguda Kaman, Gurdwara, Pullibowli Baurastha, and Koti Andhra Bank before reaching its final destination at Sultan Bazar Hanuman Gymnasium.

The Shobhayatra of Lord Rama is a significant event in Hyderabad’s cultural calendar and attracts a large number of devotees from across the city. With the police making necessary arrangements for security and traffic management, the festival is expected to be celebrated with enthusiasm and joy.
