    The Nischinta Foundation in Hyderabad, along with the Lions Club Hyderabad, celebrated the International Day of Older Persons 2023 at the Ruki Dayal Chimnani Old Aged Home in Jeedimetla, Hyderabad.

    The Nischinta Foundation explained that the United Nations General Assembly declared October One as the International Day for Elderly People in 1990. Since then, the day has been celebrated to raise awareness about issues affecting older individuals and to acknowledge their contributions to society.

    The theme for the year 2023 is “Resilience of Older Persons in a Changing World.”
