Hyderabad Aiming to Rival Global Cities, Says CM Revanth Reddy

Telangana CM Plans Big Expansion for Future City

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has announced bold plans to expand Future City, aiming to make it a global hub like New York, Tokyo, and Singapore. To turn this vision into reality, the government will require an additional 15,000 acres of land. The Chief Minister urged farmers to support the project by offering their land.

“Future City will be a landmark development that places Hyderabad among the world’s leading cities,” said CM Revanth Reddy during a recent meeting. He also highlighted Hyderabad’s rapid growth in real estate, mentioning a 29% increase compared to the previous year.

As part of the state’s larger development strategy, the government plans to build specialized markets for vegetables, fruits, dairy, and meat. These markets will be spread across 250 acres near Ibrahimpatnam. The goal is to improve supply chains and boost agricultural trade, benefiting both farmers and city residents.

The Chief Minister emphasized his commitment to sustainable growth and urban modernization. He assured that Hyderabad will continue to attract global attention while meeting the needs of its people. More details about the Future City project and its execution will be shared in the coming months.
