Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali recently spoke at an election campaign in Khammam. He emphasized the positive impact of the BRS government’s spending on Muslim welfare programs. The Home Minister, along with MP Nama Nageswara Rao and MLC Tata Madhusudhan, addressed the media in support of BRS Khammam Assembly candidate Puvvada Ajay Kumar.
Mahmood Ali highlighted the important role Muslims have played in the development of Telangana and contrasted it with the lack of minority-focused initiatives by the Congress party during its 60 years in power. He mentioned the shift in employment opportunities for Muslims, thanks to the government’s efforts in establishing schools and colleges. The Chief Minister’s vision is focused on holistic growth and includes a significant investment of Rs 24,000 crore in minority welfare.
The Home Minister also mentioned specific programs like the Shadi Mubarak initiative, which has benefited around two lakh Muslim women in Telangana. He credited the BRS government for maintaining a curfew-free environment in the state since 2014, contrasting it with previous administrations that frequently enforced curfews.
Mahmood Ali also discussed the political landscape and highlighted the singular leadership in BRS compared to the twenty leaders vying for the Chief Minister position in the Congress party. He urged Muslims to support the BRS party for the overall advancement of the state.
Finally, the Home Minister made a plea to Khammam voters, urging them to elect Puvvada with a massive majority.
