Himachal Pradesh Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss the damage caused by heavy rains and cloudbursts in the state. The Governor informed the Prime Minister about the relief and rescue operations carried out by the state government and NDRF. Shukla personally visited affected areas in Mandi and Solan districts. The Prime Minister assured full support. Earlier, the Governor also met Home Minister Amit Shah. Himachal Pradesh has experienced heavy rainfall this month, resulting in landslides and floods in several districts.
