Telangana High Court Orders Demolition of Illegal Building in Ayyappa Society
The Telangana High Court has instructed the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) to demolish a large building in Ayyappa Society that was constructed without proper permissions. The court emphasized the seriousness of the issue by noting that a contempt petition has been filed against the violators, signaling potential legal consequences.
HYDRA Commissioner A.V. Ranganath revealed that almost all constructions in Ayyappa Society violate building norms. These unauthorized structures have sparked concerns about safety and urban planning, leading to the need for strict legal measures to address the problem.
The court’s order sheds light on the growing issue of illegal constructions in Hyderabad. It has urged authorities to take decisive action to curb these violations. Following the High Court’s directive, the GHMC is expected to begin the demolition process soon.
This development also suggests that further investigations may target other unauthorized constructions in the area. The move serves as a strong warning to builders and developers, stressing the importance of following urban planning regulations to avoid legal repercussions.
