An elderly man in the Dutch town of Landgraaf kept his father’s body in a freezer for 18 months. He claimed he did it because he still wanted to talk to him and would miss him. The man’s father passed away at the age of 101, but he was not ready to deal with the loss and kept his body. The police discovered the body after a family doctor expressed worry about the 101-year-old father’s health. The police suspect no foul play, and the man’s mental health is being analysed.
