The Delhi High Court has ordered the government to take action against those selling drugs online without a valid license. The court also gave the government six weeks to address the issue and report back to the court. The matter will be heard again on November 16. Some e-pharmacies argued that they don’t need a license because they are just delivering medications, similar to food delivery apps like Swiggy. However, the court disagreed and stated that necessary action should be taken against those violating the interim order from December 2018.
