Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Harry Brook scored the first century of IPL 2023 against Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens. Brook remained unbeaten with 100 runs off 55 balls, hitting 12 fours and three sixes. This is also the first time SRH has scored past 200 in IPL 2023. Brook was dropped when on 45 by Suyash Sharma off his own bowling. Brook said he had trouble with spin but wanted to use the powerplay to his advantage. He also became the third SRH player after David Warner and Jonny Bairstow to score an IPL century.
